In the Pipeline Lansdowne Park 2.0: The proposed revitalization plan includes a new north-side stadium for TD Place and a mid-sized arena-events centre, designed to host both para sports and able-bodied sports. Downtown arena: Ottawa is a step closer to a new arena for the Ottawa Senators NHL team. Capital Sports Development Inc. and the National Capital Commission have reached an agreement in principle regarding the sale of a 10-acre parcel of land in the LeBreton Flats district. Aquatic Sports Centre: The City of Ottawa and Carleton University are developing a new facility with a 50-metre competitive pool, a 25-metre warm-up pool and amenities for swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming events. New hotel projects include the Moxy Ottawa Downtown in Byward Market (2025) and the 230-room Renaissance Marriott Downtown Ottawa (2027).
